baloo4 software package provides framework for searching and managing metadata, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install baloo4
baloo4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the baloo4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep baloo4 *
You will get with baloo4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
